Wild Brothers: Off the Couch Into Creation – the Inside Scoop
Hi, we are the Wild Brothers –– yes, Wild is our last name! We have grown up as missionary kids in Southeast Asia as our family church planted among an unreached people group. Along the way we began to document our crazy adventures in the wild, with the goal to engage our generation to faith and adventure. After 10 years of filming we have honed our craft and are now excited to share with you our latest AND BIGGEST project yet! An adventurous faith-driven tv-show called Wild Brothers: Off the Couch, into Creation.
A couple years ago, we had a very big life change. We moved from some of the remotest regions of the world in Southeast Asia, to a small town in Florida USA; from the wild to civilization. As we got adjusted to the concrete jungle, we started to wonder if our days of having adventures were a thing of the past.
However, we set ourselves a challenge to see if we could still have adventures, starting right in our backyard. This has launched us on a journey more amazing then anything we could have imagined! We are discovering our homeland for the first time, and learning that you don’t have to be on the far side of the world to have an adventure–– all you have to do is get off the couch and into creation!
What makes this show unique? First, all the adventures you will see actually happened. We like to cut through fake drama, and bring you along on whatever we are doing. That is one of the reasons why we are our own film crew.
Second, our adventures are replicable for families all across the USA. We want you to watch this series and then literally turn off the tv, get off the couch, and get into God’s amazing creation to discover something new to you!
Third, we want to be authentic with you, which means sharing about the things that get us excited–– God, His creation, and His Word. Throughout this series you will get what we are most passionate about, and hear the redemptive story of what God has done throughout history to bring a fallen humanity back into a right relationship with Him.
